I have always loved Audrey Hepburn, she’s the epitome of elegance and pixie like beauty. J’adore!

This picture was taken in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love how the monochrome outfit is fresh with the maxi skirt, body con top and pointed platforms.
Thanks for the comments on the Catherine McNeil for Vogue UK post. I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who loves nautical inspired clothing and Catherine McNeil!

Stunning Catherine McNeil shot by Patrick Demarchelier for January 2010 Vogue UK, just gorgeous. I love nautical inspired outfits, so fresh and sharp. Love!

These pictures are a complete contrast to the attitude I have on Boxing Day. These pictures are ladylike, elegant and structured. My Boxing Day entails leftovers, half-watching cricket and lazy afternoon shopping. I hope you had a gorgeous Christmas day!

mr t: i pity the fool
One of the things I need to invest in for Summer is a classic striped t-shirt. Here are some options from Sportsgirl, my favourite is the grey and black tee but at $50 it’s a little out of my price range.
I hope where ever you are that it’s not 39 degrees celsius (that’s 102.2 degrees farenheit) like it is here! I think I’m going to be living on ice cream for the day :D

Valentino Haute Couture Autumn/Winter '09/'10
Enjoyed a day out with one of my best friends. We caught a movie, then ate lots of junk food. :)
I love Valentino Haute Couture, they make garments of such detail and beauty. And the intricacy of the garments is shown in gorgeous detail shots, like the one above. See more here, I hope you’re enjoying your week!

Here’s a collection of objects that describes what I did this weekend. A ballet dress rehearsal and two concerts; Vogue Australia January 2010; Makeup; Lots of hairspray; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; and sweet smelling Ginger and Smart candles to wind down.
Hope you had a good weekend!

purple suede and elastic
Here are some fabulous Brian Atwoods, go check out Net-A-Porter for more sky high heels and boots. I’m really loving the purple suede, so rich!
I may not post as often as I would like over the next few days, because of my upcoming dancing concert. All the running around, costume changes, makeup application, hair styling and of course the dancing takes its toll.

Shoes: Parker Roche from Taranto Shoes
Here are my new shoes for Summer, a chunky platform wedge heel with a t-bar strap by Parker Roche. These shoes reminded me a little of Marni and the shape of their shoes, which is why I was so taken by them.
I was really surprised that these wedges weren’t a wide fit, because I always have trouble finding chunky shoes for narrow feet. Hopefully you’ll be seeing a lot more of these on the blog…If my camera batteries hold out.

Today was a miserable day, all I wanted to think about was warm colours. So here’s a collage of warm, berry coloured items via Net-A-Porter.
If you’re not feeling your best (or even if you are), indulge in some retail therapy this week. I hope it makes you feel good!

This is my kind of shoot, classic and impeccably tailored. I wish people still wore dressy clothes everyday, there was no such thing as dressing down :D I love all of the looks so much, I can’t pick a favourite. Can you?
it’s roboman!
Photos: My own
I’m still stocking up on costume jewellery, extending my collection. I bought the robot pendant and the chunky silver ring for $10 apiece. And the I found the other ring at home. You can’t really see it from these photos but there is some interesting curl detail around the stone.
Hope you had a good weekend! Thanks for the comments on the Romance Was Born post!

Here are some fabulous RWB backstage shots. All the outfits of this show were intricately detailed, as is everything that Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales do for RWB. The shoes from this collection were absolutely divine, with pearls, shells, peep toes, platforms and criss cross straps. And I adore the sheer tights with little white dots!
Check out Fashion Hayley’s post on the RWB pop-up shop in Paddington, full of everything RWB.

Looking forward to stacking up silver rings with inlaid, vibrant jewels. These items aren’t very affordable, but splurging is sometimes a sweet treat.
I’ve finally finished school, 8 weeks of holidays, which I am looking forward to immensely. Another year is coming to a close, this year I feel like I’ve ended on a good note. I hope you have too!

american apparel and tiffany and co.
I just received my copy of Vogue Australia January, and sadly as my camera batteries have died I can’t take pictures of my favourite bits.
But I can include this picture (from the Vogue website) of an interesting style swap that happened between two members of the Vogue team. This picture shows their outfits once they have swapped.
The January issue also includes 20 ways to update your style, and a wrap up of 2009 fashion. There’s also several interesting shoots, especially “Urban Eden” with Kim Noorda.
And of course Catherine McNeil looks stunning on the cover, with a lighter hair colour than her normal which looks fresh.
